Job Title: Business Development Executive
Salary: £25,000 plus bonus, plus company car
Location: Home based with national travel

Purpose of the Role:
To generate and deliver agreed individual sales targets of contactless and telemetry units for both existing and new clients in the Smart Machines sectors.

Someone who has just embarked on a career in sales that is keen to continue their career trajectory within a business that is genuinely progressive and in a sector that is performing extremely well in current times.


Generate sales for the Smart Machines division

Adhere to KPI and Sales Targets set by the business to generate activity relating to sales

Working closely with the Commercial Coordinator to convert leads into sales, and to liaise with for Marketing related activities.

Outbound call management

Attending regular face to face visits to develop relationships between customers and Vianet Group

Research and identify new market opportunities

Campaign management


Commercial acumen

Maintains a high degree of industry and product knowledge, with the ability to translate to Vianet’s customers’ needs

Full and effective use of CRM to manage sales and marketing activities

Ability to solution sell, field or desk based

A recognised qualification in either business, marketing or sales would be desirable

Exceptional customer service skills and demonstrable experience

High level of computer proficiency with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Natural networker, able to build authentic relationships quickly

Highly organised approach

Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

Empathic listener to really understand the needs of the customer

Good attention to detail

Self-motivated and driven

A full UK driving license

Commercially astute
