Business Development Executive, Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary up to £18,000 basic plus commission (expected first year OTE circa £35,000)

We're delighted to be working in partnership with this exciting new start-up who are looking to grow their sales team with immediate effect. Due to an increase in business, they're keen to employ a Business Development Executive who can help generate sales, both locally and nationally.

This will be a new business role and so we're looking for someone who has worked within hospitality who would join the organisation with a strong network and knowledge of the hospitality sector.

Duties will include (but not limited to):
- New business sales calls
- Account management
- Attending client meetings and demonstrations
- Attending networking events

Criteria:
- Knowledge / experience of working within the hospitality sector
- Sales experience, especially the use of CRM & Online Lead Generation tools
- Excellent communication skills
- Target driven

The role would really suit someone who has previous hospitality experience (working or managing a bar or restaurant) and has a track record in sales and meeting targets. The ideal candidate would be flexible in their learning style, highly motivated, reward-driven and very personable with potential clients and staff.
