Business Development Executive


Salary: £20k - £28k + Commission

Our client is a leading managed service provider of complex IT solutions. They are a fast growing company, with an aim to expand their sales team. You'll be working within a team of other Business Development Executives, where you'll be set out targets and strategies. Your day will mostly be spent calling prospects, booking qualified appointments, attending meetings and introducing new products and services into existing customers.

This role offers fantastic opportunity to take responsibility/ownership of a growing business unit and offers advancements in progression for the right person.

The successful candidate will report directly into the CEO and will be based in the Newcastle upon Tyne office. We are looking for a focused and driven professional with excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner. A track record of winning new business in the technology sector and a hunger to either run a sales team or win and manage targeted accounts is advantageous.

What will you need?

  • 2-5 years sales experience, ideally desk and field
  • Managed IT sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills with a confident telephone manner
  • Self-motivated, ambitious and driven to over-achieve set targets/KPIs
  • Must be confident in speaking to C-level Executives
  • Resilience and positivity
  • Ability to work within a changing environment
