About the role:
This new role will be responsible for supporting sales activities and targets set out by the Sales Manager to include:
-Lead generation: researching the target market and finding companies to targe
- Qualifying leads
-Attending meetings and calls with potential customers
-Running product demos resulting in closing sales
- Working to monthly sales targets as set by the sales manager
-Reporting on sales activities
-Using a CRM system to organise and improve workflow
-Working to their core values
This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate wanting to be ‘in at the start’ of a company that is going places, who recognises that with drive and tenacity they will get results and be part of something great. It is ideally suited for someone who may be a second jobber or recently graduated with some sales experience.
- Experience working in a B2B sales function
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
- Not afraid to ‘cold call’ and can deal with rejection
- A solid understanding of the email space
- Some understanding of common sales requirements, strategies and challenges of a growing disruptive startup
- Use of a CRM system would be beneficial
