An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of London’s well-respectable catering venues as an experienced Business Development. The perfect candidate will be required to achieve targeted level of sales for Mazaa. It is essential that the candidate has experience in Asian weddings and planning, and it would be advantageous if you understand an Indian language.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Use sales techniques and closing sales skills the gain clients confirmation of services

  • Identify, call and book appointments with new potential business sources

  • Effectively communicate with clients via telephone, face-to-face and written communication

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients

  • Produce all contracts and deposit invoices for the department

  • Communicate function details and client requirements to operations team

  • Manage venue diary to ensure optimum profitability of operation

  • Liaise with other members of the sales teams to actively promote sales opportunities.

The Person

The successful candidate will be/have:

  • Experience in Asian wedding planning

  • Previous experience in a similar role

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good organisational skills

  • Knowledge of the Asian catering industry.
