Business Development Executive

The Role:
- Devise and implement a new business plan to deliver new business for the branches within a geographical area.
- Implement the business plan for the area, linked to local sales and margin requirements and convert this into a profitable business performance.
- Deliver 16 new accounts monthly, working with the branches within the defined area.
- Introduce and promote new products to both new and existing customers.
- Provide management reports as required, in agreed formats within set time frames.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a previous sales based role, working within a trade or business to business background.
You need to have the ability to work to targets with strong management skills. You will have an excellent understanding of margins, experience of visiting new and prospective clients on site and proven experience of opening new accounts, with the ability to increase spend with existing customers.
