Business Development Executive
£18,000 - £25,000 DOE, First Year OTE to £35,000 + company car
We are recruiting for a Field Sales Business Development role for our client who are a leading provider of business-essential technology products. Suitable people might already have some previous experience within technology sales, although consideration will also be given to people coming from a sales background of other products and/or solutions.
Just a few years of field based, customer facing sales experience would be of most interest, but this position might also be suitable for some experienced desk-based sales / telesales people who are now looking to progress towards a role that also and mainly incorporates field based and customer facing sales.
Working out of their office in West Lothian and covering Edinburgh and the Lothians, you will be selling a product that is essential for all businesses to have and that they cannot do without. You will be entirely responsible for the full sales cycle yourself - from sourcing leads, telesales lead generation, making appointments and then meeting with potential clients and explaining and demonstrating to them what this specific product can do for them and save them in comparison to what they may already have. Cold calling on other business while on a patch would also be expected therefore only the most confident and self-assured people would be suitable.
We are looking for someone who is money hungry, very motivated, self-managed and who can make things happen from a standing start. The starting salary for this position is between £18,000 - £25,000 and is depending on and commensurate with experience, with basic salary reviewed at regular intervals and also in line with sales achievements. Additional OTE is expected at around another £7,000 - £10,000 in your first year although this is uncapped and can be exceeded in year one, and you will also be supplied with a company car along with a phone and iPad. A full driving licence is of course an essential requirement for this position and applicants must also live within Edinburgh and the Lothians.
All applications will be treated with the strictest of confidence. If you feel that you meet the requirements for this role and would like to apply, please do so through the link provided. A well written & detailed CV along with a non-generic covering letter specific to this vacancy would add significant weight to your application.
