Our client is currently looking for a Business Development Executive. As part of the Marketing Team, you will drive engaged leads down the funnel to create sales qualified leads and a sales pipeline for the Strategic Account Managers.

Job Description for Business Development Executive:
The Business Development Executive will play a key role with our client linking the Marketing and Sales functions of the company.
Their main task will be to nurture and qualify marketing leads and assist in moving them from MQL (Marketing Qualified Lead) to SQL (Sales Qualified Lead). This will be achieved by the use of outbound calling and social media.
They will gather information from the target about current situation, technology, experience, existing corporate strategy, and forth-coming projects, aiming to disrupt and differentiate in the process. The BDE will try and book an introductory call or meeting with the contact and a member of the sales team to discuss their areas of interest and the context of this within their current landscape.
The candidate for the Business Development Executive will be an enthusiastic and motivated self-starter who constantly strives to hit target. You will need to have confidence in speaking to senior decision makers, and be personable enough to break down the barriers required to start building relationships. You must be good at listening, and able to articulate key differentiators for our clients.
Above all you will be polite, courteous and well spoken, as you are providing the first impression of our client to a potential customer.
To be a Business Development Executive, you will require previous experience of outbound or cold calling is essential.
A good understanding of technology and business structure / hierarchy would be useful, although not essential.
Previous use of database software, Salesforce and HubSpot would be an advantage, as would experience in a services led / outcome based environment.
Daily Duties Include for the Business Development Executive :
Follow up on marketing leads that show engagement in our content via outbound calling for lead generation, successfully moving them from MQL to SQL
Achieving daily, weekly and monthly KPI's set by Marketing and Sales
Regularly follow up all warm leads maintaining and building a sales pipeline
Book meetings for the Strategic Accounts Managers, organising and confirming meetings whilst effectively managing diaries
Research alternative appropriate employees within target market companies when required, using LinkedIn and other social media platforms,
Assist in the planning of targeted calling campaigns into key verticals ahead of executing an effective calling plan
Create, update and maintain accurate records within the internal database
