Business Development Executive


£22,000 + commission

My client are a UK leading utilities firm and they are looking to expand their team in the Leeds office. The Account Manager will have a solid background within Sales or Account Management, and have the ability to build strong business relationships with decision makers from a wide range of sectors.

As a Business Development Executive, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Building a pipeline, cross selling and managing existing relationships
  • Ensuring all customers are compliant with strict company policies throughout the sales process
  • To quote potential customers accurately using a company regulated pricing system
  • To ensure KPI’s are consistently achieved to drive maximum sales
  • To build a portfolio of clients and manage relationships
  • To be autonomous and forward thinking in maximising sales

As a Business Development Executive, you will require the following skills:

  • Excellent communication skills on a professional level
  • A professional telephone manner
  • A solid background within sales
  • Excellent capabilities on Microsoft packages
  • The ability to develop personal skills in a sales environment
  • The ability to think logically under pressure
  • A proven track record of working closely with team members
