Established in 1866, the Royal Aeronautical Society is the world’s only professional body dedicated to the entire aerospace community.
We are currently looking for a Business Development Executive to support the Head of Business Development in delivering the continued growth of the Society’s Corporate Partner Scheme, with the objectives of delivering effective marketing, new corporate partners, retention of existing partners and accurate reporting.
You will need to assist the Head of Business Development in delivering new revenue through advertising, sponsorship and other streams across the Society’s core business areas.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- To be instrumental in ensuring that the Society continues to attract new and retain existing corporate partners, sponsors and advertisers
- To build and maintain effective relationships with members, corporate partners, advertisers, sponsors and exhibitors with the aim of ensuring support and generating revenue for the Society’s activities
- Establish and maintain relationships with corporate partners through effective communication
Effectively undertake all administration and reporting to deadline and with accuracy
The ideal candidate should be educated to degree level, have knowledge and effective practical application of a wide range of sales/marketing techniques and relevant concepts.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential. The role requires an individual with the ability to be organised, work to deadlines and possess a 'can do' attitude.
