To £25k Basic + Uncapped Commission

(1st years OTE £33k rising to £39k 2nd year)

Based: Leigh (off East Lancs Rd) WN7

Office Hours (Mon - Fri)

The Company:

Due to continued growth and success, our client (an established distributor) is now seeking to recruit an experienced Business Development executive (desk based) to further develop and increase their market share with end users throughout the UK. This is a key role with an emphasis on strong new business sales / account management and requires someone who is confident and outgoing with excellent communication skills along with enthusiasm and a passion to deliver an excellent service to the client. The Role:

  • To proactively promote and sell a portfolio of branded products and services whilst also selling their own label into new and existing business customers
  • This is an outbound sales role working from a database to manage new, lapsed, dormant and low spend accounts whilst maximising profit margins
  • To deliver a monthly profit target
  • To produce monthly sales reports detailing wins and client activity
  • To concentrate on specific project based sales campaigns by targeting defined key vertical markets and types of end users
  • To promote and manage "Try n buy" programmes
  • To look at ways of driving traffic to their website
  • Daily use of the CRM system to schedule calls and to record customer actions

Skills / Experience Required:

  • You should have current and relevant telesales experience within a similar role (pref: a distribution / reseller background)
  • A proven track record in sales (including new business generation)
  • A stable work history
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Sound PC skills (MS Office)
