Business Development Executive - Godalming
£22,000 -£25,000 + Bonus
Our client is a dynamic, entrepreneurial finance organisation seeking a proactive Business Development Executive with good research and database skills.
This role is available on both a full time and part time basis and offers an exciting reward scheme and scope for progression opportunities for those who want to join the growing Broking Team.
Experienced Business Development Executive to build relationships with the existing client base and work up a pipeline of business to transfer into the Account Management team.
As well as strong communication skills, you’ll need to be positive, hardworking and enjoy developing rapport with clients and prospects. Ideal candidates will need a good track record in the finance industry, although applicants with transferable skills in telesales, external sales or financial services will also be considered.
The role will primarily involve working with customers who the company have already done business with, and you’ll be expected to make high volume calls daily to establish good working relationships with the client base.
Cold calling is also key to the role: we have a database of over 20,000 contacts ready and waiting to help you source new business opportunities.
Skills and Experience
- Microsoft Excel and experience with using Customer Data Bases
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers and sales teams
- Experience of financial accounts is desirable to put together successful credit proposals to underwriters on behalf of clients.
- Experience in telesales / external sales in financial services
