The Person

Are you comfortable working to set sales targets - and hitting them month after month?

This is a great opportunity to make your mark on a leading digital agency and enhance your sales skills in a challenging and exciting role.

We’re looking for a driven, self-motivated salesperson who’s confident in their own ability to generate leads, and spread the word about our service. You’ll be as comfortable at networking events as you are picking up the phone and talking to potential clients.

And if you’ve got a little black book bursting with contacts across the north west, that won’t do you any harm.

As a Business Development Executive, your core objectives are to:

  • Generate leads intelligently within our target verticals.
  • Build relationships with businesses across the north west and book appointments.
  • Find the right solutions for our prospects and write proposals from scratch.
  • Record all of the important detail in our database and reporting tools, including the project management software and our CRM.
  • Represent Tecmark with confidence, assurance and intelligence.

You’ll work closely with the team, but won’t mind being left to chase your own leads. In fact, you’ll thrive under the responsibility of managing your own workload to ensure you hit your targets.

Ideally two years’ sales experience - perhaps in media, but this isn’t essential - you’ll be keen to learn and determined to hit the ground running.
