This is a really exciting permanent opportunity, working amongst a friendly and supportive team as a Business Development Executive. This is very different to most sales roles, and is more of a career based opportunity for individuals who like a challenge and possess strong commercial awareness. With offices across the UK, our client is an established Microsoft and Sage business partner, and is a specialist in its provision of software systems to the construction, contracting and house building industry.

You'll have proven phone based lead generation skills and be experienced in outbound cold-calling, receiving inbound sales calls and enquiries, and nurturing software prospects and leads, using rigorous qualification methods to assess level of interest and purchasing capability.

Being accustomed to using a CRM database, you'll be accountable for accurately logging and prioritising your work, and you'll enjoy working alongside busy sales teams to support campaign activities. Preferably, as a telemarketer or telesales specialist, you will have previous experience in speaking with prospects and/or customers, perhaps in an account management or sales role. Desired, but not essential, is a background in the construction industry, as the company product is specifically targeted at construction providers.

You will benefit from a full induction and class room based training and all the support you need to get up to speed with their software products and services, so you can be confident in recommending the right solutions to senior personnel within small to medium sized businesses. Candidates who come from a Technical Sales/Pre-sales background will be particularly well suited to this role, as there will be technical information to digest.

You'll be rewarded for your commitment and hard work with a competitive basic salary (£25k pa) and a scheme that allows you to earn UNCAPPED OTE. For people who are successful in this position, there are opportunities to progress into more senior roles or diversify into other areas of the business.

The company have also just moved in to their brand new, purpose built offices based in Maidenhead, which are within close proximity of the Train station, so would be easily accessible from Slough, Hayes, West Drayton, Southall and Reading. The role offers Mon-Fri 9am-5pm working hours, contributory pension scheme, private medical cover (including dental treatment) and free car parking available on-site.
