We’re looking for a Sales and Business Development Executive to work for a fantastic company in the centre of Brighton. You’ll be working in an office based sales role, working in a professional company who are working with business clients. You’ll work as part of a great team who can offer long term growth and progression.
The role is selling over the phone so previous telesales experience would be beneficial however, the company are offering professional services and are looking to build strong business relationships so someone commercially aware with a strong desire to achieve and surpass targets is essential.
- Identify, prospect and win new business both from new clients and through developing relationships within existing clients
- Generate new leads and pursue them to convert them into new clients
- Build strong relationships with existing customers to offer a great service and increase revenue with existing accounts
- Conduct sales over the phone and via email
- Arrange meetings for the field teams to attend, occasionally attending meetings alongside them
- Work to and achieve KPI and Revenue targets
The role needs someone with a professional outlook, who has had exposure to a commercial environment or possibly a graduate with experience gained through projects or internships.
You’ll need excellent communication skills both verbally and written and the ability to understand and relay technical information to a non-technical audience.
Previous experience in B2B sales would be an advantage but not essential.
In return the role offers a basic salary of £18k-£20k plus commission on top and excellent company benefits.
