Business Development Executive

My client is a specialist IT distributor based in Nottinghamshire.

Due to expansion they are looking to recruit a Business Development Executive.

Job Overview: You will be generating sales leads from high quality end user data. This is a perfect role for someone who is considering a career in IT sales or an established volume caller.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will: • be responsible for generating end user leads • qualify prospects generated by targeted external campaigns • assist IT resellers with lead creation, including travelling to customer site to do so • be able to pitch complex, security solutions to contacts at all levels of business, without a script • sustain a high volume of outbound telephone calls • Establish and build business relationships quickly • Progress leads generated by vendor partners Candidate Specification: The successful candidate will: • be organised, focused and success oriented • be a self-starter • have strong interpersonal skills and can communicate at all levels of business • be an excellent telephone communicator • have previous experience in a call centre or of telephone sales

Preferred skills, but not essential: • previous experience in IT • knowledge of IT security products and concepts Training: Full product training will be provided
