A leading international brand are seeking a Business Development Executive to work within the South East or West of England, creating new business opportunities, growing existing business and work towards individual targets and KPIs. The ideal candidate would have experience within Field Sales selling machinery and confident with new business.

Job Title: Business Development Executive (Field Based)
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 + OTE
Location: York and Surrounding Areas
Job Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm/ 9:00am - 5:30pm (rota basis)
What you’ll be doing…
Take control of your own diary; book your own appointments and service your own client base
Demonstrate the systems, understand machinery and support clients through the buying process
Gather market information in order to up-sell and cross-sell where possible
Take part in exhibitions and events across the UK
Maintain records of all your activities on the in house system, including tasks and visits
Weekly reporting to the Sales Manager and assessing your own work
- MUST have previous field sales experience selling machinery or capital equipment
- MUST have new business experience/ hunter sales experience
- MUST have a full, valid driving license
- Outgoing, tenacious, proactive and a true self starter
- IT literate with great communicative skills
