Business Development Consultant
For over 10 years my client has provided software solutions for high-end retailers, manufacturers and wholesalers, and they are now looking for a professional and tenacious individual to join the team to build new relationships and come up with new ideas to onboard business.
A mixture of new business development calls and consultative based meetings with clients, in order to understand the needs and challenges of the prospect business and promote the service offerings available, with the aim of securing new business.
Alongside this, the Business Development Consultant will be coming up with creative ways of gaining additional interest, such as email marketing campaigns, sponsorship opportunities and any new ideas they can contribute and implement.
The role would be on average a 50/50 split between the office and visiting clients, UK-wide travel would be required with potential of overnight stays therefore you will be required to have a full UK driving licence and your own vehicle, however a hire car would also be available and all expenses will be paid.
Permanent employment, office working hours of Monday to Friday, 9am -5pm

Minimum of 2 years proven sales experience, including new business development but with a customer-focused approach.

Full UK driving licence
