Starting Salary - 16 - 18K

OTE - 30K

Monday to Friday

Shifts - 7am to 4pm OR 10am to 7pm

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, confident and enthusiastic person to join a well established Recruitment Agency as a Business Development Consultant and part of the Bookings team. We are looking for a driven individual, with experience within a Sales or Account Management environment.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Business Development Consultant

  • Working as part of a Sales/ Bookings Teams

  • Calling Candidates to obtain their availability for work

  • Managing client accounts and working to fill any requirements for agency staff as quickly and effectively as possible

  • Calling and texting candidates to generate interest in any open vacancies/shifts

  • Ensuring that the agency staff are matched to the client requirement

  • Assisting agency staff with details of their work schedule and sending details of their place of work, location and working hours.

  • Maintaining excellent customer service relationships with hiring managers within private & public sector health care environments

  • You will be part of an on-call rota: This will require you to respond to any out of hours requirements.

  • Working split shift patterns on weekly basis including; 7am to 4pm OR 10am to 7pm etc.

  • Assisting other bookings consultants and supervisors with urgent requirements as & when needed

Bookings Consultant Skills & Experience:

  • You will be driven, self-motivated and able to work actively as part of a team with a 'can do attitude'

  • Excellent customer service is essential and an excellent telephone manner

  • Good understanding of Microsoft packages and emails essential

  • The ability to manage your time effectively and prioritise is essential

  • Flexible with working hours and working early or late shifts.

Business Development Consultant Salary & Benefits:

  • £15,000 to £18,000 basic salary

  • Excellent commission structure and a warm desk to earn commission immediately

  • OTE up to £30,000

  • 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

  • Company events and days/nights out are very common, with trips to Horse Racing Days and other corporate events and weekends away
