Our client a market leader within their field are looking to recruit a driven, tenacious and efficient Business Development/Account Manager to join their established team. Reporting to the Sales Director key duties will include;
* Forging strong, long-lasting client relationships.
* Provide ongoing account management and sales support to institutional customers throughout various locations within the UK.
* Driving new sales, as well as ensuring the growth of your existing accounts.
* Represent the company in customer account meetings, tenders, presentations, and Industry events and exhibitions.
The ideal candidate will have prior success within a comparable role, be experienced in selling to customers in a competitive and resistant market and against established vendors and will excel at finding and closing new opportunities, building relationships and growing existing accounts. Furthermore you will have strong closing and consultative selling skills, be an excellent communicator at all levels and be a goal orientated self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and an education sales background would be desirable. A full UK driving licence is required as this is a field based role and you will be required to travel up and down the country.
