This is a new role reporting to the Group Head office you will be responsible for providing an overview on the commercial performance of the UK market sectors and facilitate its profit optimisation
Develop effective working relationships with your key customers across UK sites/offices and market sectors, which include, Senior Finance Managers, Sales & Marketing Directors, Business Managers UK (All market sectors) and Customer Service/Internal Sales Managers.
Duties will include:
-Provide key information on the business performance from a commercial perspective, focused on margin development
-Work collaboratively with the business to develop reporting procedures to identify areas of opportunity for margin enhancement
-Liaise with & provide support to the UK commercial team to enable them to be effective in pricing and mix management
-Work with people at all levels (seniority & understanding) to direct pricing strategies
-Prioritise tasks aligned to commercial impact, anticipate issues and respond to unforeseen changes
-Provide direct support in key customer negotiations
-Custodian of all the UK commercial contracts, their alignment and implementation
-Presenting complex information in a succinct manner to drive action
-Develop an awareness/understanding of business drivers, commercial pressures and market developments
-Utilise business operating systems effectively to source and generate information required
-Ensure all business has a benefit to the company and is profitable to manufacture
You will ideally have a Degree or equivalent in a Business based subject and be a qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA and experience of working within a group environment and in a commercial position.
