We are looking for an experienced B2B Business Development Manager to join our team in a role that will see the role-holder take responsibility for the growth of business sector sales.
Now one of the largest privately-owned motoring groups in the south of England, we first opened for business in Bournemouth back in 1923. The Group now proudly represents 15 vehicle manufacturers and employs over 700 local people.
With 22 showrooms located across the region - from Christchurch and Poole to Corfe Mullen and Salisbury - the group offers the widest choice of new and used cars for sale in the area, with everything from cost-effective city cars and the very latest in carbon-neutral electric technology, to luxury sports coupes and rugged off-roaders. The Business Centre Development Manager / Automotive Fleet Sales:
The role will be based at our Bournemouth dealership on Wallisdown Road, focusing on building client relationships and generating business sales throughout Dorset and Wiltshire. You will be working closely with dedicated manufacturer support and report into our Head of Corporate Sales.
To be a success in this role, you will:
+ Have experience of dealing with fleet and commercial customers and have a proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets on a monthly basis
+ Possess excellent negotiation skills and be confident and approachable
+ Manage and make your own appointments
+ Not be afraid to cold call, both face to face and via phone
+ Be self motivated with the drive to grow our network
+ Be well organised, tenacious and have excellent communication skills and
+ Hold a full, valid driving licence
+ Achieve agreed sales targets for new vehicles, within defined operating and financial guidelines
+ Maintain good relationships with existing customers, and establish new sales contacts and opportunities within the business sector
+ Ensure exceptional levels of customer care and professionalism are achieved at all times
+ Design and present tailored packages to each business user in order to meet specific requirements and enhance customer satisfaction and
+ Work effectively within the Dealership team, ensuring industry-leading standards of customer care and satisfaction at all times.

Working hours: Your core hours of work will typically be Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 6.00pm.
