Project Manager - Surbiton Fredrickson are seeking an accredited Project Manager to join their growing Change team at a very exciting time of Company growth. In this role you will operate as an integral member of the Change Management Team responsible for the successful delivery of Business and IT projects to time, cost, quality and scope, and will identify risks and issues with delivery with plans to manage these. You will have full oversight on the end to end project delivery and take full ownership on all aspects of the project life cycle. The role involves planning and managing projects of varying sizes and complexity. Additionally you will be responsible for managing multiple projects, ensuring open and clear communication with relevant parties at all times. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for stakeholders and/or clients during the delivery of their projects ensuring you build good relationships at all levels and take ownership of each element of each delivery project being managed. Your key responsibilities are: Influential leadership delivering change successfully and being part of a dynamic team who are continuously improving the way deliver Group change. Responsibility for the successful end to end delivery of projects from project definition and set-up through all execution stages to handover to BAU support and business teams. Leadership and day to day assignment management of allocated project resources across multiple internal technology and business functions and external suppliers. Successful application of project management methods within the Group Change delivery Framework to ensure delivery to time, cost, quality and scope To manage supplier engagement including contract negotiation where required. Raise purchase orders and provide on-going co-ordination of contract delivery. Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate progress and issue resolution in line with the Group Change delivery framework. Provide coaching and mentoring to allocated project resources Keep up to date with the latest delivery methods and recommend improvements that add value to delivery across the business. Adherence with change control, security and legal/compliance requirements. Manage costs effectively and control all spend through good budget management and controls Adhoc business analysis activity as required Line and team management responsibilities may apply within this role. It is essential that you have a good track record in delivering complex IT and business change projects to scope, time, cost and quality, using a variety of approaches. You are likely already working within an IT environment and have a good grasp of "technical speak" with the ability to translate this for senior stakeholders outside of the IT space. You will be comfortable and confident working within a fast paced environment, dealing with ambiguity and change. You will have experience with managing suppliers, defining and managing project budgets, managing stakeholders and taking ownership of change delivery. The following experience is desirable: business analysis, process re-engineering, Financial Services sector, working with and/or managing outsourced or offshore/near shore teams. The key skills and qualifications you will need for success in this role are: Qualified to at least degree level and hold a project management accreditation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Commercial and Financial acumen Adaptive and flexible to changing circumstances and direction Management of difficult stakeholders and team members Leadership of teams and uses team dynamics to get the best results Influencing skills and managing conflict Planning & Organising Excellent Microsoft Office skills in: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio and MS Excel.
