A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to join one of our largest Local Authority clients in a temporary assignment for initially 3 months (with every possibility of extension depending on performance).
Based in West London, this is a full time role (36 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
Purpose of the role:
The Business Analyst role is responsible for providing analysis and general support to the Grenfell Response to ensure that the service meets the needs of those affected by Grenfell. This includes:
*the proactive support across a range of functions to support Grenfell-related project(s)
*the servicing and supporting of governance processes that oversee the project(s) in the wider Grenfell context.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
*Working to the defined roles and responsibilities as set out by the Senior Project Manager.
*Establishing broad stakeholder involvement, communicating the project status and key milestones and clearly communicating expectations
*Balancing the quality of work with deadlines.
*Identifying and managing risks to the project by assessing potential risks and escalating to the Senior Project Manager.
*Using software to help manage the project.
*Supporting policy change development and implementation
*Supporting process development and improvement by planning and organising all administration activity associated with the production and implementation of business processes and systems
*Proactively communicating and collaborating with external and internal customers conduct research, analyse information needs and define functional requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, case files, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
*Demonstrating logical problem solving approach and provides rationale for proposed solutions.
*Demonstrating objectivity, thoroughness, insightfulness and probing behaviours when approaching problem.
*Demonstrating the ability to break down complex problems into manageable parts and Identify solutions.
*Perform analysis to determine the impact of changes in the Grenfell context.
*Supporting governance arrangements that oversee the Grenfell Response by maintaining action logs, producing papers and coordinating and chasing actions emerging from these governance arrangements
*Maintaining reporting and management information to assure quality and evidence project(s) progress
