Job title: Business Analyst Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 dependent on experience Base location: Raynes Park, London SW20 Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week
What is this role?
REED's IT Department is recruiting Business Analysts to join its successful, dynamic and experienced in house development team. You will join a development team of 5 business analysts and 12. The team is responsible for developing all of REED’s core business systems, with a key focus on REED’s next generation recruitment platform, X3. Given the success to date and the appetite from both the business and clients, the team is increasing in size. Our platform is already used by some of the biggest brands in the UK.
X3 was a 'green field’ product that rethought how to deliver HR products and services, to significantly improve the functionality we offer to recruiters, clients and candidates. It is the new 'go-to-system' for our corporate clients, and development is underway to prepare X3 for our principal business (while continuing to develop corporate functionality.) As a Business Analyst you will be given ownership of discrete parts of the system - covering both existing and new requirements. From involvement in the initial workshops, you will lead those areas through design, development, testing, deployment and live maintenance. For any new developments you will lead/manage your programming team (consisting of developers and testers.) A great challenge - as you'll get experience of designing and overseeing significant components of complex, business-critical systems.
As such, the role will include: • Facilitating requirements workshops • Mapping, developing and improving end-to-end/business processes • Defining features, epics and user stories with relevant acceptance criteria • Varying communication to the target audience (technical & non-technical) • Managing business requirements throughout all phases of a project • Working with stakeholders, at various levels of seniority
What can REED offer me in return?
You will receive 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, the chance to buy, sell and carry over holiday, paid sabbaticals after every 5 years of service, long standing service awards, a discount scheme, pension, season ticket loans, access to health insurance, free eye tests, personal development schemes, paid rewards for innovative ideas, childcare vouchers and many many more!
