Group Information Technology Team
Information Technology supports the strategic and day to day initiatives within the business. This includes activities relating to change projects, development and high priority operational support problems. We are an integral function to Partner with the Business to facilitate the successful implementation of the Building our Future Strategy to deliver our Vision and Purpose.
The individual is required to develop a detailed understanding of the business that they support and act as a liaison point between the business and information technology. An ability to develop an in depth appreciation of the functional processes and activities of the business will be required with the ability to ensure both business and technology functions understand the requirements that are to be met.
The role spans the entire product lifecycle from requirements gathering to third line activities at the point of operational support. It will involve working within the information technology governance framework and explaining requirements to resources from internal teams, the business and external suppliers.
Examples of what you will be doing:
Gain a full understanding of business function operations, processes and activities
Gain an understanding of the business regulatory and compliance requirements
Good working relationships with business, internal and external/outsource groups
Document business processes and/or systems, assessing the integration with technology
Document functional requirements, non-functional requirements, As-Is process and To-Be process
Document data models, business case and key performance indicators
Recommend business solutions that enable the organisation to achieve its goals
Work with project teams during the project lifecycle, breaking down barriers to change
Work with product owners and scrum teams, harnessing the experience of people during agile projects
Analysis of business requirements to appraise initial risks and issues
Support user acceptance through governance to ensure requirements have been met

Experience you have that will set you up for success:
Experience of working in a business analysis role
Educated to A Level standard
Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
Computer literate with MS Excel or similar skills
Familiar with other business software.
Other helpful things to know:
This role reports within the Business Change function.
This role has no direct reports.
This role will be based in Milton Keynes with time spent in other offices throughout the country.
You will have working relationships with Program Managers and Project Managers
A full UK driving license, willing to have occasional stays away and work unsociable hours on occasions.
