Business Analyst (Water) - Role Objective
The objective is to reduce the customer, environmental and the financial Impact of (and the number of) leakages, bursts, isolations, discolouration incidents and other water related disruptions across the network.
To work to ensure the business change associated with Proactive Asset Management (PAM) Programme initiatives is accurately defined and managed in order to ensure successful deployment and implementation across Wholesale & Chief Engineer. Building strong links with Wholesale, Chief Engineer, IS, Customer teams, third parties and suppliers ensuring best practice is developed, implemented and recorded. Working on the Smart Networks Modelling Water project delivering key business analysis outputs and project products; supporting quality, timely and to costs in-line with the Project Manager's direction.

Business Analyst (Water) - Key Accountabilities:
• Identify, map and document changes to existing (As Is) business processes and develop target/ solution (To Be) business processes and secure approval and sign-off
• Support business case development and benefits management processes
• Lead, develop, baseline and maintain the Requirements traceability matrix through the project life cycle
• Identify business areas and processes impacted by technological change utilising detailed change impact assessments
• Undertake detailed business readiness assessments
• Understand and work to remove issues identified by the change impact and business readiness assessments
• Support Project Managers to ensure that project and change benefits are correctly identified and monitored and a framework is in place to enable sustainability of change
• Build collaborative relationships with Production, Chief Engineer, Network Control, IS and Customer teams to facilitate and manage the successful implementation of projects
• Proactively seek out future opportunities or problems and act with pace to deliver solutions
• Support stakeholders in communicating change to their teams and engaging them in its delivery
• Understand requirements, develop materials and support training
• Travel and work at various sites/ locations across the company Region, attending local communication cells where required and supporting local teams in implementing change programmes, including being flexible with working hours
• Confidently facilitate workshops involving staff at any level

Business Analyst (Water) - Experience
• Must have Water industry experience
• Experience on projects that include II and business change
• Must have experience creating dashboard from scratch
• Experience of working with stakeholders from different teams and environments
• Experience of influencing leaders and teams and gaining commitment to change and the business readiness activities to make it successful
• Experience of benefit identification, definition and delivery planning
• Confidence to challenge at all levels in a constructive and appropriate way
• Maturity to seek feedback and show willingness to adapt and improve
• Good communication and influencing skills at all levels in the organisation
• The ability to manage multiple activities to tight deadlines

Business Analyst (Water) - Qualifications:
Essential
• Business analysis/ change qualification
• Good IT Skills
• GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
• Driving Licence

Desirable
• Degree in a related discipline or equivalent
• Project or Change Management qualification

Additional Information:
• Location: Coventry
• Contractor day rate: £400-£450/day
