Business Analyst - Software/Product Development - Agile

Posted 6 February by Cathcart Associates

Business Analyst required to join a growing organisation in the heart of Liverpool as they continue to go from strength to strength.

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Agile BA who has many full life cycle software/product projects under their belt and is keen to have an instant impact.

The Role:

You will be the integral link between the software development team and the stakeholders - essentially acting as the bridge between the two.

You will gather the requirements of the client; go back to the team and disseminate the requirements; create user stories; write functional specifications and consult with both parties at all times. You will be able to spot problems before they arise, and a key requirement is managing stakeholder expectations as well as translating their needs to the highly skilled development team.

To be successful in the role, you will ideally have experience working in a gaming or online gambling environment.

The Company:

You will be joining a leading technology organisation with a great reputation as they continue to deliver multiple Agile transformation projects. My client is well renowned for looking after their staff, you will be given opportunities for development, a competitive salary and market leading benefits & flexibility.

Agile is a relatively recent change for them and has been driven by the constantly changing nature of their business. This coupled with their heavy investment into cutting edge tech, makes it a very desirable place to work.

Key Skills and Experience:

** Business Analysis - including workshop facilitation, requirements gathering, etc.

** Knowledge and experience of the full software development lifecycle methods and tools

** Full participation in all Agile ceremonies (stand up, planning, estimating, retrospectives), including facilitation as appropriate

** Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) - this isn't a buzzword for them, they actually follow Agile very closely from top to bottom after a recent change in focus

** Process Engineering

** Documentation - user stories, test plans, process flows, etc.

** Communication and stakeholder management

** Business Analysis certification

** Online Gaming/Gambling experience is highly desirable for this role, however, if you can demonstrate a plethora of projects where you have added value across the full project lifecycle, it is worth having a chat

This is a chance to join a hugely motivated team who genuinely enjoy their work. You will work alongside some very talented technologists and be given opportunities to grow professionally and technically.

If this sounds interesting, please apply straight away, or call Liam Wilson for an informal chat.
