Business Analyst - digital transformation
This is a growing business with it’s HQ in Warwickshire / West Midlands and with business customer / supplier locations across the UK.
A U.K. business, part of a wider European group.
The Head of Innovation and Technology has put the UK businesses’ digital transformation path well on track over the past 18 months with improved processes and systems for suppliers and business customers. However, after time with a one of the world’s top Management Consultancies the business is now set to go through the digital transformation.
Even towards the start of their digital transformation the business has experience considerable growth in the past 1-2 years, so this is exciting times.
A key role internally for the new digital innovation team is the Business Analyst role. The Business Analyst function in the team has also made good headway. Immediately this role would be involved in process mapping to help the team reach a milestone in the longer term road map.
The Business Analyst role can be fully based at the Warwickshire HQ, or there is flexibility and a modern approach to remote working when appropriate.
The Business Analyst will document business requirements for a supplier and business customer management tool.
You will be involved in workshops across the business, identify requirements and develop story mapping, user / customer journey, empathy mapping to UX design.
The Business Analyst will identify 'business requirement fit’, not technical fit. Although good industry knowledge for solutions to requirements is welcome. You'll work close with Solutions Architect and Project Management roles. The builds will be with 3rd parties.
Ideally you would have experience in taking customer journey from off-line to on-line, i.e worked with a 'legacy industry’. Be able to spot opportunities to speed workflow, automation and transform manual processes from a user front end perspective - rather than technical back-end perspective.
The business maybe considered 'legacy industry’, but the plans and senior people are certainly not. The Head of Innovation and Technology is from a top world class London consultancy, so it will be great to see what great minds bring to the business and industry. They are also are in new, contemporary, modern environment - where graduates do not move on after the initial year. A good place to work.
Please email me your CV to me, Graham with a view to being briefed further and gaining the fuller context of this Business Analyst role and company.
