SO WHAT’S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT?
As someone who wants to develop their business operation experience further as part of a growing team in an exciting business, you will champion business process management standards that Perform are implementing centrally.
You will lead activities that capture and document the key information for business process workflow definition. This will include the identification of all components and associated dependencies and will involve working across the business so we can transform all of them to a single standard methodology.
Typical focus will be on Service Management processes for Staff services, Identity Management and Business Systems, and onto other areas to develop a joined up business process model that allows end to end visibility of cross-functional activities across the organisation and that enables managers to effectively maintain their own processes.
WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?
Deliver a pipeline of process mapping work with the team based on business priorities
Accurate and comprehensive process information capture from stakeholders
Creation of detailed processes using MS Visio, Enterprise Architect or other process mapping tools
Ensure appropriate process documentation (for both service owners and end users) is created that aligns with our Service Management solution
Provide process investigation service to identify opportunities for refinement and improvement
Undertake data collection and normalisation for business analysis projects for areas where operational processes are uncertain
Support the Head of Central Business Process with championing business process standards within the organisation
DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW?
Proven experience of capturing and documenting business process information within a medium to large size organisation (Media or Technology sectors advantageous)
Demonstrable competency around effective process mapping techniques (visualisation, clarity, completeness, maintainability etc.)
Familiarity with a range of different business systems including service management and awareness of the typical business processes interdependencies that are likely to exist
Able to createeffective and engaging support documentation based on input from subject matter experts
DO YOU HAVE THESE DESIRABLES?
Expertise around different business process methodologies such as BPMN or Archimate
Degree qualified (or of similar standard) ideally in a numeracy-based subject
Intuitive thinker able to grasp process information rapidly and to get inside the process
Experience of ServiceNow (Helsinki, Istanbul or Jakarta release)
