Business Analyst - Agile Software House

Posted 4 January by Talent Point Ltd Ended
We are a very successful Agile software house building innovative Connected Services, E-commerce and User Analytics platforms for some very prestigious London brands, and we are currently expanding the Business Analysis team to be able to handle the growing client demand. As a result we need a very capable Business Analyst with experience in agile software development and excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

WHAT THE ROLE IS:

In this role, we will be taking full advantage of your BA skills (organised nature, documentation skills, requirements gathering, stakeholder management, backlogs etc.) The Business Analyst will then go on to work with the Scrum team to ensure new features and products meet acceptance criteria, acting as the "voice of the user" within the Agile process. This would suit an experienced Business Analyst who is looking to take that next step in their career development, someone motivated and keen to get more responsibility and grow with the business.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

First and foremost the Business Analyst will be experienced and comfortable with gathering, defining and documenting requirements for the creation of software in an Agile environment with a data heavy focus. We are agile and collaborative so you will work with a variety of stakeholders: users, developers, QA, Scrum Master, Product Owners, CTO etc. to gather requirements and prioritise them. (We use JIRA and Microsoft TFS but we are fairly tech-agnostic).

We also are big believers in involving our users, customers and stakeholders through our sprints, so as our BA you will be expected to be comfortable in formulating good user stories and visual UX of the interface or user journey (although this could be hand drawn or demoed with wireframes or prototyping, Axure or Balsamiq etc.)

We need someone confident, who is not afraid to challenge stakeholders when you see an issue and offer a solution in return. You will work with client stakeholders to assist in creating, prioritising and grooming the product backlog so good communication and social personality to ensure requirements are effectively elicited from stakeholders and users are absolutely key.

This is an amazing chance for someone who wants to be an integral part of a team and contribute in a meaningful way to all projects! We have a flat structure so MASSIVE OPPORTUNITIES for career progression and personal impact. Please apply through this ad so we can get in touch with you with more information.
