Due to our ongoing success our exclusive client is looking to appoint a Business Administrator to join the team and report to the Operations Manager and Financial Controller.

This will be a dual role, working alongside the Operations Manager and Financial Controller, allowing you to gain valuable experience from two qualified professionals. The role has considerable scope for the successful candidate to acquire new skills and experience in a rapidly changing professional environment.

• Provide administration support to the efficient running of the office
• Provide excellent customer service
• Keeping well-organised files and records of business activity
• Communicating with office suppliers and ordering
• Liaising in a professional manner with internal staff, associates and clients.
• Preparing documents for the senior management team
• Ability to perform in client meetings, at exhibitions and on business calls
• Lead generation when required to support the sales team
• Manage travel arrangements for employees
• Scheduling appointments and events
• Additional ad hoc duties as required

Required Duties and Responsibilities Finance:
• Processing purchase ledger invoices
• Performing supplier statement reconciliations
• Processing expense claims
• Maintenance of the fixed asset register
• Raising sales invoices
• Credit control
• Additional ad hoc duties as required

Required Skills and Expertise
• Degree level required
• Strong interpersonal skills and highly organised yet flexible
• Ability to organise workload and work well on own initiative as well as part of a small team
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Excellent administration skills and organisational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines without compromising the quality of work
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in written form
• A high standard of IT literacy (MS – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook in particular).
• Confident and professional telephone manner.

Preferred Skills
• 1-year previous admin experience
• A business or scientific based degree would be preferable but not essential

This role will be working Monday - Friday 8.30 - 5.3-with 1 hour lunch ( some flexibility required)

You will also receive up to 25 days holiday + bank holiday ( starting at 20 and increasing with length of service.

It gets better - Every last Friday in a month you get to leave early!!!
