The Agricultural team based at Stradbroke in Suffolk is made up of our team of vets, fields staff, technical and support staff working together to ensure that our supply chain from beginning to end operates within the highest standards of welfare, quality and efficiency.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Administration Apprentice, who will become a key member of the BQP Administration team, based at Stradbroke – could this be you?

An apprenticeship trains you to play an important support role within a business or organisation. Administrators handle the day-to-day tasks in an office and make sure things run smoothly. This sort of work requires a strong sense of responsibility, accuracy and attention to detail. The skills you learn on this apprenticeship can be transferred and utilised in any business, both in the private and public sectors.

As an apprentice you will work alongside experienced colleagues, gain job-specific skills, earn a salary and get holiday pay, and study towards a related qualification, as well as receive other great benefits

Apprenticeships take one to four years to complete depending on their level, and the skills you gain can be of great benefit to any business.

Key Duties will include:

Providing administrative support, processing data and producing reports.
Producing documents and managing information.
Managing your own personal performance and development.
Developing working relationships with colleagues and learning how to work as part of a team.
Making and receiving telephone calls.
Handling mail, record keeping and using electronic systems and office equipment.
