Our client is a new, dynamic Housing Association formed by the merger of two strong and resilient housing providers who have a shared history in providing excellent quality services to their customers. Working across Greater Manchester and the North West they aim to remain true to their mission, values and vision and to making a difference in the communities they serve and wider neighbourhoods.

They are currently looking for a Qualified Accountant (or someone with extensive senior experience) to join their team as a Business Accountant. This post leads and supports their finance team to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of their services.

You will be tasked with ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of regulatory and other returns, ensuring full compliance of the HCA and funding bodies. You will ensure the preparation of accurate and timely Accounts on an ongoing basis, provide business partnering support to internal staff and deliver quality decision making support through high quality management accounts and business information. You will be responsible for managing the Groups cash flows and Fixed Asset accounting records.

The successful candidate should be fully qualified and will be experienced in delivering year end and management accounts, applying financial controls and meeting statutory obligations. You will be skilled at leading and supporting a team and will have experience of delivering projects to tight deadlines.

This is a permanent post and hours of work are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
