Your new role
As a Business Account Manager you will be responsible for delivering budgeted invoice, net sales and gross margin within account portfolio and a financial year in line with annual and strategic objectives set by the head of sales. The role is to be solely responsible for the P&L of specific accounts, through managing existing range listings, and gaining NPD listing and promotional execution.
You will be proactively seeking out and exploiting all sales opportunities consistently to achieve short and long term company objectives.You will ensure maximise visibility for the brand in all formats relevant for the account e.g. eCommerce, convenience, concessions, catalogues. You will be responsible for all administration relevant to the selling and negotiating within a designated accounts, for example responsibility for New Line Set Up, Pricing Amendments, promotional Briefing, liaising with Field Merchandising Team and Display production team etc to deliver agreed activity in accordance with account deadlines.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be of graduate calibre, with experience within a fast paced sales environment and within Account Manager role. You must demonstrate challenger attitude, and demonstrate where they have been previously developed a proactive and successful trading relationship. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in building and maintaining strong relationships. You will have a strong understanding of the FMCG market and must be able to demonstrate excellent account management skills.
