Location – Manchester (Hybrid working 3 days WFH)

Hours – Monday-Friday // 8.30am-4.45pm
Reed are currently working with a fantastic manufacturing company who specialise within the drinks industry.
The company are currently looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Account Executive.
In this role, you will be an integral part of the Commercial team and supporting with the product portfolio. Your contributions will ensure the smooth operation of commercial activities: maintaining accurate pricing, submitting new product forms, coordinating promotional activity and forecasting volume.
The successful candidate will have strong commercial awareness, analytical skills and being self-sufficient is essential.
This role will provide the candidate with a potential opportunity to progress into an Account Manager role in the longer term should they so wish and if the necessary skillset can be demonstrated.
Role Responsibilities:
- Accurately manage and maintain price files on customer portals, and internal systems in conjunction with the Commercial team.
- Submit new line forms and contracts on retailer portals.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with retailers, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Establish strong relationships with key internal departments across Development, Marketing, Supply Chain, Technical and Operations
- Deal promptly with customer queries or requests
- Complete planned and ad hoc accurate reports as required to support the Commercial function.
- Support with factual input into Supply Chain meetings including forecasting and demand planning.
- Co-ordinate the implementation of price changes, including stock management and implementation dates both internally and with the customer.
- Market Research: stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to provide insights and adapt strategies by regular store visits, category and market analysis.
- Support the administration of tenders
- Involvement with Supply Chain to manage forecasts and proposals for changes.
- Liaison with Planning department regarding changes that are required to protect customer availability.
Skills & Experience:
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
- Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- SAP experience is highly desirable.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience working cross functionally (internally and externally).
- Hard working and a willingness to learn from others.
- Flexibility and adaptability are essential.
- Full UK driving licence.
