A structural defect insurer who provide specialist products that provide cover for new build and converted properties that are less than 10 years old. They arrange cover for new builds, barn conversions, mixed use developments and housing association projects. This company have recently welcomes an "A-Rated Insurer" to their panel of insurers, giving customers a wider choice of insurers for your Structural Defect Insurance.
Your new role
They require a highly motivated, enthusiastic Building Surveyor to join their existing team providing professional advice on all aspects of property and construction. Primarily responsible for carrying out risk assessments on properties that have been registered by the company in order that they meet building regulations and ultimately insurance cover can be issued once complete.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will carry out site inspections for 10 year structural warranty insurance cover on new build dwellings. You will inspect these dwellings at various stages during construction and liaise with builders on any technical issues or sub-standard/remedial works. You will inspect existing properties and prepare condition survey reports. Inspecting properties and preparing claim validation reports and assessing building defects and compiling expert reports. You will be able to identify potential business leads and new sites for sales to follow up.
