This is a full time, temporary ongoing contract and the successful candidate will hold a relevant professional surveying qualification and a full UK Driving Licence.
The main purpose of the role is to manage and carry out a full range of surveying duties for refurbishment and repairs of residential properties.
Other purposes of the role include prioritising an allocated caseload, identifying and reducing/managing risks, exploring the most effective method of progressing cases and co-ordinating with other stakeholders as appropriate.
The main responsibilities of the role are outlined below;
Undertake the following tasks;
Provide a customer focused service of surveying and auditing to support the responsive repairs and voids contracts, inclusive of pre and post inspections, and managing complex works from inception to completion with emphasis on getting it right the first time.
Provide accurate analysis and specification of works, raising orders for remedial works in line with Financial Guidelines and procedures, preparing variations and ensuring completion to approved timescales within budget.
Controlling expenditure on service, ensuring value for money to make the best use of resources, in accordance with financial regulations.
Ensure all contractors are working to service standards to achieve the required results for the customer.
Manage assigned projects for complex repairs, ensuring that agreed outcomes are delivered on time, within budget and to the expected standard.
Execute the project according to the agreed project plan.
Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
