An exciting opportunity to join awell-established and respected firm of Chartered Surveyors specialising in all aspects of residential property. We are looking to expand our team of surveyors with an experienced full time senior building surveyor.

To fit the role the candidate will need to be AssocRICS/MRICS/FRICS or CIOB with 3+ years experience working on residential property. You will be responsible for providing clients with an efficient and effective service, with all work being completed on time and to the highest standard and quality, ensuring customer satisfaction and service delivery is maintained at all times.

The role will be based in our Guildford office and will involve travel into and around London.

The role involves the provision of:

Pre-acquisition surveys of residential property including Cost Assessment/Advice

  • Assessment and identification of Building Defects
  • Party Wall Awards including Schedules of Conditions
  • Post works surveying and preparation of specialist reports
  • Project Management
  • Project Administration
  • Monitoring of repairs and rectification works and singing off works
  • Quality Control

You will have:

3+ years private practice/consultancy experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Full clean UK driving licence and be willing to travel into and around London
  • An eye for detail and desire to achieve consistently high standards
  • A strong focus on client development and retention
