BUILDING SURVEYOR RICS
Chartered Building Surveyor or equivalent qualification ideally RICS required for superb opportunity with an expanding property company on the London / Surrey / Middlesex borders. The Building Surveyor will have experience working on large residential developments / schemes and will have worked with a wide range of stock from listed buildings through to new build developments.
You will have been involved in major works projects both refurbishment and cyclical projects and will have an understanding of the Section 20 (S20) process and its subsequent project management. The successful Building Surveyor is likely to come from a general practice environment or estate management company although candidates with housing association or similar Estates Surveyor / Building Surveyor experience may also apply.
Our clients are a successful property consultancy with a growing portfolio of work. The surveyor will provide a range of services from defects diagnosis to scheme feasibility and cyclical maintenance. You will be involved in devising refurbishment and maintenance contracts for a portfolio of clients including contract administration of major project works, providing advice on building project costs and subsequent project management. Experience working with leasehold properties is essential. The Building Surveyor will have a track record in the project management of major works to residential blocks / estates.
The role of Building Surveyor / Estates Surveyor is a fully inclusive role that includes: carrying out building surveys; producing specifications and schedules of work and associated drawings for tendering projects; assisting with specification of works for the development, refurbishment and maintenance of estates and undertaking project management of major works.
