Your new role
An excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join an established estates team based in Staffordshire. As part of this role you will be assisting and reporting to the Building Manager to provide Building Surveying support for operational businesses in respect of occupation property, acquisition and disposal and to manage those properties with a view to maintaining asset value, compliance with legislation, lease obligations etc. Your principle responsibilities will be to: Undertake all Building Surveying activities in fulfilling the above including but not limited to:-
- Develop an understanding of Group Property including the management of environmental consultants for remedial and associated works.
- Dilapidation assessments and Negotiation of dilapidation claims
- The preparation and agreement of Schedules of Conditions
- Procuring new works
- The management of external consultants and advisers
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be fully or part qualified with RICS or CIOB, It's important you have good negotiation skills and are motivated to progress within a large organisation that offers excellent career prospects.
