Hold full Electrical Qualfications to inclued eithe City and Guilds level 2 or NVQ electrical Installations Level 3 , 17th edition.
Your new role will involve looking after and managing the day to day reactive and planned
maintenance throughout a number of sites located in East London.
Tasked with completing an array of reactive maintenance (RM) & planned preventative maintenance
(PPM). You will be electrically biased however will be undertaking a number building fabric works
and basic mechanical tasks.
Duties to include lighting repairs, lamp changes, lighting & socket installation, re wiring, replacement
fuses and the maintenance of distribution boards and other plant located on site.
Carrying out reactive & planned maintenance for electrical works, painting, decorating, minor
joinery, basic building repairs, porterage, office moves and other general duties in support of the
business and our members.
You will have a strong electrical maintenance background as well as experience of carrying out
building fabric works.
You must be prepared to undertake works during unsociable hours ie early starts or late finishes as
per the agreed contractual hours / rota.
Will have a positive “can do” attitude and the ability to work on our own as well as part of a team.
Good communication & organisational skills are a must as well as previous use of having used a
CAFM system and or a handheld device for your work allocation.
Solid understanding of Health & Safety as well as Statutory responsibilities including log book
Assist sub-contractors as and when required including reviewing RAMS and issuing PTW’s.
Maintain accurate site records / documentation in association with all site works.
To inspect the condition of services and proactively deal with call-outs/repairs as required, and
requested by the management team.
Attend site emergencies, outside of normal working hours.
Keep and maintain all issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner.
