Building Services Coordinaor - Contract

Yolk Engineering & Technical are currently recruiting exclusively for a local company who manage some of the best known buildings and facilities in the South Wales area. This role is an excellent opportunity for you to join on a contract basis as a Building Services Co-ordinator. This role is both hands on and management focused seeing you oversee a range of tasks that will include:

  • Oversee capitol maintenance projects
  • Assist in procurement and management of maintenance projects
  • Manage contractors
  • Ensure compliance and safety
  • Provide technical, mechanical and electrical knowledge and support
  • Prepare and manage risk assessments
  • Have knowledge of buildings and facilities maintenance

The successful candidate will have specific experience which include:

  • Ideally apprentice trained or degree qualified in a similar discipline
  • Previous management experience is essential
  • Experience of budget / project management would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of fire alarms, mechanical and electrical systems and installations, ventilation and refrigeration are beneficial
  • Managing multiple locations would be beneficial
