Building Manager job in warrington offering £28000 - £32000 on 9 month contract
Your new company
You will be working for an established property management company who are looking to appoint a commercial Building Manager on a contract up to 9 months based on site in Warrington. You will be responsible for 2 receptionists and report in to the Senior Facilities Manager.
Your new role
You will be responsible for On-site management of M& E and other contracts ensuring they act in line to current regulations and guidelines. Accommodating new tenants within the building. Carrying out regular checks on tenant accommodation in line with requirements of the lease agreement. Operation and monitoring of cctv system during office hours. Liaise with security regarding any issues/matters. Marketing of the building to attract new tenants within the required entry criteria. Handling prospective tenant enquiries, arranging and conducting viewings and following-up to secure lettings. Organising and negotiating the lease with Solicitors. Risk assessment and risk management of the centre's communal areas both internal and external. Operation of the building under the requirements of the fire certificate, including the routine testing, and recording of tests, of the fire detection and prevention systems. Management of car parking for both visitors and tenants. Control of the day-to-day operational budget. Recording of all tenant and other customer expenditure
What you'll need to succeed
You will have demonstrable experience of working in the commercial sector. You will have previously worked in a facilities or building management role. You will have experience of health and safety checks, marketing of property, lease agreements, viewings etc.
What you'll get in return
This is a contract role which could go up to 9 months. £28000 - £32000 salary depending on experience. Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm.
