BSW Apprenticership Lead (12 m fixed term)
Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire CCG (BSWCCG) are looking for a high motivated individual for a new post for an Apprenticeship Lead to join the Workforce Transformation Team. BSWCCG is a newly merged organisation and this is an exciting time to lead the way and the strategy for our supporting the BSW areas current and future workforce with apprenticeships.
The post covers the localities of Bath and North East Somerset(BaNES)and Wiltshire and you will work closely with the The BSW Education Project lead, BSW apprenticeship group and apprenticeship providers. You will work closely with your BSW colleagues across all organisations to promote and increase high quality apprenticeships. This work will include Contract management with apprenticeship providers, working with Primary Care Networks, skills for care and social care partners to encourage and support the expansion of apprenticeships to underpin future workforce pipeline and skills. As a member of the wider BSWCCG workforce team, you will play an active role in the strategic planning across the whole of the CCG and will agree a BSW apprenticeship strategy across the partnership.
You will have a good knowledge of the agenda relating to apprenticeship and workforce development within health and social care. You will have excellent communication skills to work in this multi-professional and multi-agency experience. You will inspire and shape the future of Apprenticeships across BaNES and Wiltshire using your leadership qualities working closely with partners across the health and social care economy. You will work with Providers to assure and strive to improve the quality of apprenticeships and coordinate increased career development opportunities for new and existing staff.
In this post, You will be proficient to give expert advice and ensure the BSW partners take full advantage of the opportunities apprenticeship presents us with when workforce planning
Interviews will take place at the end of September/ beginning of October and will include a presentation to a small panel of wider stakeholders.
