Loss adjusting operation has a need for a Broker Business Development Director in the Midlands. As a Business Development Director, you will be responsible for new business wins and additional development of business from Brokers in the Midlands region. You will service the needs of the broker/direct connections and Insurers and act as a conduit, feeding back information to the Operation teams as required.
This is a high profile and demanding role. Although focused primarily on Property business, you'll be expected to make a significant contribution to the success and development across all business streams. An individual who naturally networks within such arenas, will be expected to develop new business opportunities by understanding the strategies and interpreting the requirements of the key players within the insurance market.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent links in Brokerages and other insurance related businesses within the Midlands market. You must be skilled in dealing with people at all levels up to CEO/board level personnel and be able to interpret client's wants and desires. Strong strategic and analytical skills with a proven track record as a business manager who is bottom line profit orientated.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to work closely with customers and colleagues in a matrix management structure are a must, along with self-motivation and a pride in achievement.
