Broker Administrator - Whiteley - £16,500-£18,500 - Permanent position to start ASAP
The key purpose of this role is to take inbound mortgage calls from mortgage intermediaries who require information with regard to new lending, further advances and porting. Resolve any queries they may have, provide agreement in principles, escalate complaints where required and deliver high standards of customer service.
Receive calls, provide information to the broker and deal with any queries that they have effectively and provide excellent customer service.
Participate actively in telephone campaigns where required for both intermediary and customer campaigns
Deal with calls, emails and faxes, and communicate with intermediaries, internal and external contacts on outcomes as required.
Meet and exceed, where appropriate, agreed service standards for both internal and external customers.
Update intermediaries on the status of their clients applications; provide clear and concise communication as required and on a timely basis.
Resolve technical queries and complaints within personal levels of expertise and escalate where necessary.
Anticipate and maximise full conversion opportunities by feeding back any appropriate information to the relevant stakeholders.
Identify and escalate any instances of fraud or other suspicious activities and report these to line management.
Follow and keep up to date with current best practice and regulatory requirements and recommend improvements or changes to procedure
Participate in User Acceptance Testing as required.
Complete general administration duties and ad hoc tasks or projects as and when required
Maintain the company's compliance standards and own compliance training
