The role of the British Heart Foundation (BHF) Data Administrator and Analyst is to provide information support to the Inherited Cardiac Conditions (ICC) service particularly with reference to cardiac data analysis, transfer of data from an existing cardiac database to the current genetics patient management system (PASS), organisation and monitoring of waiting times and service activity. Your duties will include the collection and collation of nurse led clinic data and results of screening/other investigations onto PASS system to produce activity data for monthly, quarterly and yearly returns to the British Heart Foundation and the ICC service. In absence of the secretary to the service manager, carries out general admin work involved in the ICC service - dealing with mail, handling telephone enquiries. You will deal with patient queries in person or by telephone which requires accurate note taking. If appropriate, carry out initial investigations, resolving where possible prior to referring to Service Manager for response.
