Our REED Education FE branch are currently working with an outstanding college on an exciting new role in the North Hampshire area. Our client is looking for a fantastic Brickwork Lecturer to join them on a temp to permanent basis.

  • Job Title: Brickwork Lecturer
  • Location: North Hampshire
  • Pay rate: £25/30 p/h
  • Hours: Full time
  • Duration: Temp to Perm

The College:

Our client is an outstandng college which provides Vocational Courses for post-16 students, as well as Higher Education, part-time and Professional programmes. They also have an extensive work- based learning provision and are an apprenticeship provider.

The role:

· Teach Brickwork to the BTEC curriculum to students ages 16+.
· Carry out assessment, evaluation and other administrative duties relating to the post.
· To report student progress and take appropriate actions to help students overcome any difficulties students may have with the completion of the qualification within the agreed timescale.
·To assist in the planning and monitoring of site observations and visiting to carry out assessment of apprentices.
· Conduct workplace Health and Safety visits to ensure safety learners
· You will be working with students aged 16+
· Effective curriculum and lesson planning which meets individual needs is essential

What you will need:

· A recognised teaching qualification
· Experience delivering Multiskills
· Experience in delivering in a Further Education Setting or with apprentices
· Good behaviour management techniques

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a DBS check.
