**Breakfast Chef - Hotel - Gatwick - £19,500 pa**
We are currently looking for a Breakfast chef for this former 16th century farm house, now a 4 star 227 room hotel with restaurant and extensive meeting facilities.
The ideal candidate will come from a similar background with exposure to a variety of cooking styles and have a progressive work history and have an understanding of the day to day needs of a busy hotel kitchen.
You will be producing buffet style breakfast for approximately 300 guests as well as some cook to order items; such as kippers or egg benedict. You will also be required to help with the preparation of meals for the staff canteen. This is a demanding position so flexibility and a drive to succeed are essential.
You MUST ensure food and hygiene standards are kept high. HACCP and COSHH requirements must also be met. An eye for detail and the ability to work under your own initiative as well as a team are essential.
The position is paying up to £19,500 per annum
Working 42.5 hours per week working 8.5 hour straight shifts five days out of seven, meals will be provided on duty. You will also benefit from discounted stays at over 120 UK hotels and will be entitled to a 50 percent F&B discount. There is also support with Catering and Hospitality NVQ training across a levels 1,2,3.
